Something to think about

Don't say that in church!

if you will indulge me by clicking on this link you will find that the Governor of Alabama was rebuked by a small minority in Alabama after commenting that those who are Christian as he is Christian are his brothers and sisters.  I kid you not, that is all that he said, and it was said IN A CHURCH!

Yet it was considered inappropiate because it was to commemorate Dr. King .... nevermind the FACT that Dr. King was a PASTOR!

"There may be some people here today who do not have living within them the Holy Spirit," Bentley said during his speech. ''But if you have been adopted in God's family like I have, and like you have if you're a Christian and if you're saved, and the Holy Spirit lives within you just like the Holy Spirit lives within me, then you know what that makes? It makes you and me brothers. And it makes you and me brother and sister."
He did not say that he doesn't care for people of other believes or even that he has anything against them.  Rather simply he stated that his fellow Christians are his brothers and sisters but due to the movement of political correctness he was reamed for this comment.

“When a politician might reveal his beliefs, it is creating an impression,” Policinski said. “Religion is a part of many peoples’ lives, but there is an implication when a particular faith receives favorable or disfavorable treatment. It is a very difficult line to draw, but it is one any politician has to be aware of.”

By the very lips of one of the persecutors it is confirmed that the man did not directly make any claim against non Christians. But by being a public official he no longer has the right to make statements about his religious views even in church.

How does this tie into the blog, "Something to Think About"? This goes back to the original post of the 9th amendment and understanding our rights under the constitution.  We need to wake up people! Our rights are slowly being erroded away by the acid that is the new political system which has been in the birthing process for a few decades

something to think about: it ties together

Alright people I told you this was coming.  I am still waiting for the push for Obamacare based upon the Arizona incident but here comes the:

new gun control proposal

WASHINGTON -- If someone admits to a federal official that he's used illegal drugs, that information should be sent to the FBI so that person can be disqualified from purchasing a gun, Sen. Chuck Schumer said Sunday
Some people are probably thinking, oh how awesome but I want you to really think about this. So, I am going to slowly elaborate all the problems with this concept.

1) Laying aside all other problems momentarily with this concept. There is by far no reason that this should be a federal issue. Gun control has been a state issue for awhile and when the federalists who are raping the constitution and the 9th and 10th amendment understand this we will alll be better off.

2) Please denote that it says federal official not officials. So by the word of one man you can lose your right to own a fire arm for any reason whether it be for hunting, or self defense. What is to stop him from lying?

3) Let's be honest here people there are plenty of people who have tried illegal drugs at some point myself being one of them. To punish someone for something that happened in their past is insanity. Plenty of people have stopped using drugs and been fine

4) According to the second amendment it is my RIGHT not privilege to own a weapon.

Sadly while things like what happened in Arizona are horrific, you have to let the bad in with the good. You cannot seal off the bad without also sealing off the good. This is but one more way for them to try and impose control on the states thus eliminating the need for personal rights.

Here is the most disturbing part of this entire thing.

NO ONE has stood up to object! Where is the outrage?

People have become so engrossed in television, internet and general media outlets that we have allowed the federalists to further impose their will without so much as a squeek of protest.

BEIJING—Chinese President Hu Jintao emphasized the need for cooperation with the U.S. in areas from new energy to space ahead of his visit to Washington this week, but he called the present U.S. dollar-dominated currency system a "product of the past" and highlighted moves to turn the yuan into a global currency.

While the change to Chinese currency is highly unlikely to occur we must remember that the talk of a global economy is everywhere around us along with the general term of globalism. Whether you believe in the Bible or not it is time to wake up and realize that globalization is not only going to happen, it is happening. Nothing is going to stop or deter that.

Now some might wonder why this is in the same blog as gun control propositions and the answer is simple it is all being worked by the same administration, it is all part of the same problem and the longer we continue to live under this facade that it is all part of something different the longer we are going to continue to watch as our liberties die away one by one.

Before you go tooting the horn of Obama, or Bush or any other Republican or Democrat it is time that you realize that BOTH have been QUOTED as saying that they wanted a new world order.  Obama unlike Bush has been quoted as saying that he thought a global economy was in the best interest of the people of the world and should be a future GOAL!

Before you spin me off as nuts keep an eye on these blogs because I am going to PROVE that this is FACTS through the words of the people who would call me NUTS. So please bear with me. Right now this blog is about awareness of what is going on in THIS country and unfortunately despite my best efforts it is becoming so that I cant really mention this country without mentioning another.

Moving on:

the incident in Arizona has also spurred gun control debate in neighboring liberal state, California

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2011/01/17/tucson-shooting-fuels-open-carry-debate-california/#

while there is nothing wrong with healthy debate or the state taking initiative to talk about the matter instead of the federalists demanding control as in the case of the proposed law of admittance to past use of illegal substances to a single individual there is something in this article that no one should overlook.

After Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, D-Ariz., was shot in the head last Saturday by a lone gunman, several members of Congress have floated new ideas for restricting access to guns. Sen. Frank Lautenberg, D-N.J., is pushing a proposal to prohibit high-capacity magazines, a move criticized by the National Rifle Association. Most recently, Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., said Sunday that he wants to require the military to notify federal officials whenever somebody tells a recruiter or other official that they have used illegal drugs -- this way, they could potentially be prohibited from buying a gun. Shooting suspect Jared Loughner, according to a source, was rejected from enlisting in the Army in 2008 because he admitted to using drugs.
I have previously stated my problems with certain restrictions on gun ownership.  However, if restrictions are unavoidable then it is time that a compromise was reached so that we know where the line can be drawn. We must remember that in the land of Scotland it was outlawed to own weapons shortly before the English invaders began to try and claim Scotland as their own. We should set out certain guns that any individual is able to own in their own home or carry on their person in the interest of defense.

There are some that would say that they would lay down their weapons once the criminals lay down theirs. I, however, will not because I can whole heartidly say that tyranical government is ever encroaching and I would rather be ready for the milita enforcement of law than not. Unlike others I sincerely hope I am proven wrong on all of this, sadly time has proven me right time and again.

In fact I have been so right in my "predictions" that my friend Eric, a man that was once very liberal and in some respects still is, has drastically changed how he views things in this country. He said he has found it incredibly astounding at the things that have came across as I have said and even with the beginning of the first post for: Something to think about I was proven right as time progressed and politicians began to try and use the incident as a chance to push their own agendas. So far the only thing that has not been pushed using this incident is the Obamacare.

Why are my predictions coming true? Because I am not using some so called method looking at shit from a computer while making a code of the Bible, I am not rubbing some crystal ball or reading the stars.  I am simply analyzing with basic critical thinking skills.  When you look at this country and the interrelationship growing across the globe and then you consider the recent past of the movements in the country and think of all possible outcomes for the incident at the time or the general time period and consider who is in power and what they believe in you can logical figure out what is going to happen next.

I am not a prophet here people, well I shouldn't say that since I am a Christian and you never know what God might call you to do in the future. But, at present moment I am no prophet or seer. I simply am pointing out what is plainly obvious to any individual who can look at the world objectively and take into consideration the motivation of the people running it.

For my last thoughts in this particular blog. Really think about this now.  When it comes to the wikileaks incident who in their right mind can logically BELIEVE that ONE man was able to get ahold of all the files that this man has gotten? A lot of these files were not even ON the internet! So, the possibility of hacking just went down the tube. I am not saying that this man is working in direct coorelation with the government but what I am saying is this:

several people across the world especially world leaders are talking more and more about globalization.  In order to have an effective global economy and global market you need a global unification. This cannot occur as long as people still trust those that rule them to some degree, and let's face it while we bitch and moan about them we do still trust them to some degree or they wouldn't be in power. When Julian Assange shows the world that the governments and people ruling them are not able to be trusted in any light there will be upheaval and that will open the doors to globalization. When most think of globalization, before they dismissed it as nonsense.  Now the new doctrite is well yes but we basically already have it. No, we have it to a degree but I assure you it is not on the level that many of these world leaders are looking for us to have it. If you consider what it would take to logically run an effective global market you can begin to understand why there has to be a central group of leaders, or leader in order to effectively reign it in.

Like I said before though... it was just something to think about. As I leave I give you these parting words of wisdom:

if you are Christian you know that truthfully we cannot stop globalization we can only protest it, maybe slow it down some.  For those of you who aren't Christian just know that globalization does not mean that everyone is accepted and allowed to celebrate their own differences. It is not unification they are talking about it is global conformity and oneness that they are seeking. We see a sample of this already with Americanization that has spread well beyond the border of the U.S. and even in areas outside of Europe. We must stand together regardless of personal believes in the face of this growing movement to destroy what makes each of us unique.

Whatever you believe, wherever you are from celebrate your heritage. You do not have to agree with another in order to be tolerant. Let us go back to the original understanding of the word tolerance where it meant that we knew everyone was different and we expressed where we believed someone else was wrong without it becoming a lawsuit or a matter of hate. Let us take the new movement of our time that is growing understanding and let us heal the pains of the past without erasing the identities of the future.

My name is Vincent. I am what the U.S. calls white or caucasion. Technically speaking I am American. I believe in the Constitution and the forefathers of this country. I believe the states are sovereign and should not bow to dictatorship from the federal power. I believe the south was right in the sense that it had the right to leave the union that it helped to create. I believe the north is wrong in demonizing the south with manipulated wording of truths in order to further their own agenda. Above all else I am a bible thumping Christian and believe that no one is going to heaven without first accepting God's gift of Jesus. I believe the proper set of values should be in order: God, family, friends, community, state ( i.e. country depending on where you stand ), and then job. I believe Dixie should and under one set of circumstances or another will be its own nation one day.  I believe hating is usually wrong ( unless someone is defiling the Church or the word of God ).  I believe violence is sanctioned under certain circumstances such as defense of the things I have listed before as key values. I believe hating someone because of the tone of their skin is one of the stupidest things on the planet and should be detested. Today I celebrate Robert E. Lee's birthday and commemorate the legacy of a God fearing, peace loving man named Martin Luther King Jr.

what do you believe?

Something to think about

Ok folks, I originally started this blog at another site, so please bear with me as I duplicate it here and try to get everyone up to date. the location of the original is here ( original posts )

this will be a blog for not just the intellectuals such as myself who follow all the news and politics going on but also for the common man.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W9RiqYC3lrA&feature=related while it did come from a movie placed in England, perhaps we U.S. citizens should listen to this speech carefully and think to ourselves, how much does this fit right now?
september 25th, 1789 was the birth of the bill of rights. For those of us that actually believe in what Washington, Franklin and the rest of the forefathers paved out this was an essential date. Perhaps it is time we remind this federalist society that we have not forgotten our rights as people! Many people talk about different rights in the bill of rights but how many remember the ninth amendment?

Perhaps it is time we go back and read the bill of rights.

http://www.billofrights.org/

read them carefully people for these are the founding believes that our constitution was based around.

ladies and gentlemen today we go over the 2nd most important document in the U.S. although depending on how you view it one could without doubt see it as the most important document. I, personally, think the declaration of independence is vastly more important do to the fact that without it we wouldn't be.

http://www.usconstitution.net/const.html#Preamble
on that site you will not only find the U.S. constitution but the preamble of the aforementioned document.

http://www.constitutionfacts.com/ <- on this site you will find multiple tools to help you understand the U.S. constitution.

It is vital that we all become more familiar with this document. The constitution tells you what you are entitled to as a United States citizen. This document is the very thing that makes the United States the country that it is, and without it we are not the Republic we set out to be.

Recently several senators, and congressman have admitted to not being familiar with the constitution. These are the people that are supposed to be defending your constitutional rights. If they don't know it, and we don't know it what ideals are we basing our country's decisions upon?

For those of you that have been following this thank you very much.  a special thank you to those that are at least attempting to read the U.S. constitution and the bill of rights.  I cannot stress the importance of this enough.

Now moving on, there is something that has been in the news lately and one issue has already been brought up in relation to it. So try to follow me because there is a lot of ground to cover here.

The shooting in Arizona was nothing more than a random act of a psychopath.  This should NOT be used as an excuse to further push Obamacare, especially if furthering Obamacare means keeping the policy that states that everyone is required to have health insurance or pay a fine. This has not been mentioned yet but I guarantee it will before it is over. Someone, most likely a democrat or possibly Obama himself will use this as a platform to further the agenda of the health care reform. Personally I am all for health care reform but shoving a bill down everyone's throat that no one read that clearly violates PERSONAL constitutional rights is not the answer.

Now that I have preempted the Obamacare agenda that will be brought up in light of the accused's mental history I would like to further add that this is not a gun control law.  You can pass all the laws on the planet and ban guns across the board and people like this will continue to emerge with weapons, even guns.  Chicago has some of the strictest bans on guns on the planet and this has not deterred the types that typically perpetrate these kinds of acts. Laws against owning weapons only keep the decent citizens who would follow the law from getting them.  If they are willing to kill someone why would they not be willing to break the law and get a weapon? With that said I will say that gun control does have some ground to stand on.  The average citizen does not need an automatic weapon or a semi automatic.  But that is aother issue.... this event had nothing to do with gun control!

Now the last thing I want to cover with this is the nut job church out of Kansas City that is going to protest the funeral of the little girl.  I, by many, am considered a religious zealot.  Personally I prefer the term fundamentalist as I believe that you cannot pick and choose with the Bible, you either believe it is true or  you do not.  Thus I believe things like homosexuality being wrong, abortion being wrong, and yes the RELIGION of Islam is EVIL.  But, there is nothing I have ever read or heard that can possibly begin to justify these pyschopaths protesting the funeral of a 9yr old girl that was shot at a grocery store.

Why do I bring this up?  Because there is potential legal backlash with this issue as well as the general shooting.  This all ties back to personal rights and the ninth amendment.  The church ordeal could be used as a background to start outlawing the right of individuals to peacefully assemble in protest.  With certain freedoms we must accept that sometimes the nuts slip through.

Right NOW there is already talk on Capital Hill of regulating what is said by journalists and those who report the news whether on radio or television or even print as they are trying to claim that this event is an example of how political rivalry and overzealous political feuding further perpetuated by media to gain ratings can lead to violence and the fact of the matter is that there are millions of other Americans every day who watch the same programs, read some of the same material that DO NOT go on shooting sprees.

The motive behind Jared Lee Loughner's attack in Arizona remains a mystery, but some Democratic lawmakers are looking to curb speech they claim creates an "aura of hatred" -- and are pointing to failed Republican Senate candidate Sharron Angle of Nevada as an example of the need for federal regulations.

Be aware people, your rights are in danger and they grow ever closer with each passing day of finding an excuse, any excuse to circumvent the bill of rights, the constitution and any personal rights we should have from simply being alive under God.

Our rights are a prize that we won when we declared and stood up for our freedom against the tyranical empire of England and substained when we defeated one of the most evil men in history, Adolf Hitler.

as the old song said, "keep your eyes on the prize",
